How to Replace the BSM?
The BSM R04-00 9664706180 is housed in a plastic enclosure located in the engine compartment right next to the battery. Before removing the BSM unit, it is necessary to disconnect the positive terminal from the battery. Then loosen the 13 mm nut. Release and disconnect all connectors except for one, which will be used to pull the unit out towards you. There are small clips on the sides of the unit that need to be released using a flat screwdriver while pulling on the last cable towards you. Additionally, from the bottom of the unit, release two clips holding the large fuses, and you are done. Installation is done in reverse order.
