How to Replace the BSM?
The BSM unit is located in a plastic housing in the engine compartment next to the battery. Before removing the BSM unit, it is essential to disconnect the positive terminal of the battery. Next, loosen the 13 mm nut. Release and detach all connectors except for one, which will be used to pull the unit towards you. There are small tabs on the sides of the unit; use a flat screwdriver to release these tabs while simultaneously pulling the last cable towards you. Finally, release 2 tabs at the bottom of the unit that hold large fuses, and you’re done. The installation is done in reverse order.
