Description
Engine cover 2.0 HDI RHR CITROEN
The 2.0 HDI RHR Citroën engine cover is designed for cars with a 2.0 HDI diesel engine with the RHR designation and serves to protect the engine from dirt, water and mechanical damage from the underside of the car. At the same time, it helps improve airflow under the vehicle and can thus contribute to reduced noise and better aerodynamics. In workshops, this part is often in demand due to damage to the original cover due to impact, driving over bumps or corrosion of the attachment.

Features and benefits:

– Reduction of noise from the engine and the lower part of the car
– Precise shaping for the given type of 2.0 HDI RHR engine for easy installation in original mounts
Installation recommendations:
Before assembly, check the condition of all mounting points on the chassis as well as the screws or plastic handles themselves – replace damaged or corroded elements so that the cover is firmly and securely attached. Carefully remove the old engine cover, clean the mating surfaces and make sure that no non-original chassis or exhaust modifications interfere with the mounting area. Apply the new part to the car gradually, first grasping the outermost screws or clips, only then tightening the rest. Tighten the screws evenly, without using excessive force to avoid cracking the plastic or stripping the threads. When working, we recommend using a workshop jack or properly secured mobile lifting arms, never work under the car only supported by the lifting arm itself. After installation, check that the cover does not rub anywhere on the exhaust, axle arms or wheels when driving at full speed, and after the first few kilometers of driving, visually check the tightness of the mounting again.
